Sturdee Cove and Carden Cove

Today we drove down to Cardin Cove and walked the Voyageur Trail from Cardin Cove to Sturdy Cove beach and then up to the top on one of the many Lake Superior shore line hills. The beach at Cardin Cove was about 5 to 10m longer than last year due to the low water levels in Lake Superior and the water was a tropical aqua marine blue. I think Lake Superior will be know for some of the best beaches in the world if the lake keeps receding.
