Phnom Phen – Chau Doc – Ho Chi Min

The last few days have been an absolute whirlwind of emotions and travel.

We visited the Teoul Sleng Prison and the Killing Fields in Phnom Phen – places of such recent horrific history that it takes a few days to recover from the shock of the brutality humans are capable of towards each other.

In Phnom Phen

We’re at the fastest Internet place in town (read slow) being eaten alive by little black bugs as we write this, so it will be short…

We’ve spent 3 days in Seim Reap, exploring Ankgor Wat and several other temple ruins. It’s been amazing – it felt like Jack arriving at the top of the beanstalk in the giant’s house and garden… as if we had to tread lightly and with respect for the giant history and sanctity of the place…
