Well yesterday Doug and I traveled to Pukaskwa national Park just out side of Marathon to take photos. It was a beautiful day with clear skies and moderate temperatures. We walked to Horseshoe Bay and then took the new trail to the left of the bay towards the mouth of the Pic River. Horseshoe Bay has a lot more beach front than last year, as the lake is down by about three feet. Mind you it is a beautiful sandy beach. The trail head that we took was at the end of the beach to the left.

The trail we took was a new one that was recently completed with boardwalks and stairs. The park did an amazing job with the trail, only a couple of spots where the trail direction is not readably apparent. All in all an excellent trail and spectacular views of Pulpwood Harbour and the Pic Sand Dunes. We took many pictures as we walked around the small peninsula.

We ran into a couple from France (Brittany) traveling through Canada that we spending a couple of days in Pukaskwa. We talked for a while exchanging travel stories and giving them suggestions on what to see as they travel west to Vancouver.
