Highland Games…

Hey!
We’re back in Fort William so we can go to the highland games tomorrow, and climb Ben Nevis the next day. I’m very excited that we are going to get to see the games – with any luck, George will be asked to take part in a clan tug-o-war where he can put all of that keyboarding muscle to good use. (Noel is so dead… Geo typed that) I’ll probably get hit by a caber while laughing at him.
Regardless, we started here 3 & 1/2 weeks ago, and we’re essentially ending here, as it has proven too cumbersome a travel task to organize a trip to the island of Islay – too bad. When we return to Scotland (after we’ve been in Innsbruck for 2 weeks) we’re going to the Tatoo at Edinborough Castle, Doone Castle (I will make George buy some coconut shells for Doug Gibbons – it’s the Monty Python & The Holy Grail Castle), and finally to see the Burrell Art Collection. According to several of the locals, we will be better traveled in Scotland than many Scots.
