In Munich

Hey!
It´s day two in Munich, and we´re following Chris Soyk around like he´s a tour guide (because really he is…), and we don´t feel like thinking. We honestly are not really sure what day or what time it is, after arriving here from Thailand. So, all Chris is missing is a clip board and a little flag to follow, and we´re all set.
I think we´re going to the German Museum today, then a huge national flower show, and we´re trying to convince Chris that the zoo is always worth a visit. We may have to strong arm him into believing that. Tomorrow we´re off top Neuschwanstein Castle, as Justine has never been, and it´s always worth another look. I´ll have to send some postcards from there – it does look impressive on a postcard.
It´s such a relief for us not to be wading our way through oppressive heat and humidity. I wore a jacket for the first time this summer last night, just because I could. We all went out for a great meal of schnitzel, dumplings and salad, followed by gellato, and we were glad not to have to check the meal for bones, raw meat or other regular unmentionables that are a potential feature of many meals in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. We´re really looking forward to the meals in Innsbruck, when we get there.
We´re off – our day has been planned!

I know I am good tour guide. Next year I will definitely have a clip board and a flag. As well we will have a tighter schedule…we will beat the “Europe in a week” thing. May be “Soyks 3 day Europe tour – Sleeping is for beginners” lol.

Ok, now back to reality: It was a great time with you guys in Munich and I hope we will be able to meet up again, may be to hike

I bet you are glad to be away from all that heat and humidity. I really don’t know how they stand it….even in southern Ontario….YUK!! We have actually been having a wonderful summer here, you should see my gardens Noel, lots to share. Keep writing, I enjoy what you share with us all. I must say, I am a little envious of the searching for the best bratwurst….enjoy.
